Detran-SP carries out the Maio Amarelo campaign every year, a global movement dedicated to raising awareness about reducing traffic accidents. Throughout the month, the agency promotes educational checkpoints, lectures, media actions, and inspections across the entire state, reinforcing that road safety depends on both individual and collective responsibility.

This year, our campaign introduced a different perspective on this urgent issue. Instead of showing numbers or shocking scenes, we chose to focus on the most painful moment for those who lose someone in traffic: the wait.
